I obtained this recipe from a teacher at a grammer school. It was so simple and yet so delicious. A great combination. One tip though, dont try to use low fat or off brand crescent rolls or cream cheese. This will not taste the same.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    pilsbury crescent rolls
  • 2 pkg
    philadelphia cream cheese 16 oz. in total.
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • ·
    brown sugar
  • ·
    cinnamon
  • ·
    cooking spray
  • ·
    13x9 inch pan

How to Make Cream Cheese Delights

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray pan with cooking spray and place 1 package of the crescent rolls in bottom of pan. Be sure to press the seams to seal them as best as you can.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla extract together well. Spread this mixture evenly to the edges on the crescent roll dough in the pan,
  3. place another sheet of the crescent roll dough on top of the cream cheese mixture. Don't worry about the seams.
  4. Sprinkle Brown sugar and cinnamon on top liberally or to your liking.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown in color.
  6. Cool for at least 6 hours.
