Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup - flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
  • 9-10 tablespoons milk
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 package - cream cheese
  • 1 tsp - nutmeg

How To Make cream cheese cinnamon rolls

  • Step 1
For the dough add the flour, white sugar, baking powder, salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg,2TB oil or butter, and combine until crumbly. Add milk one tablespoon at a time. You don't want your mixture to be too wet
  • Step 2
For the filling, cream together cream cheese, 2 1/2 TB oil/butter, 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Step 3
Roll dough out on a flour surface. You may need to add more flour to reduce sticking. Roll dough to about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Spread cream cheese mixture onto dough and spread evenly. Roll dough and cut to whatever size you would like. (6-7) rolls is what I normally get. Bake at 400 for about 18-21 minutes
  • Step 4
Icing isn't mandatory but highly reccommend. I use a simply recipe of 2 cups powdered sugar, splash of vanilla and 3-4 table spoons milk
