This recipe is from the book I got the Dinner rolls from.
It is not very healthy as it calls for lard. But it is the best pie crust I've ever

How to Make Country Pie Crust


  1. cut together flour,salt,baking soda,lard and butter. Should look like small peas.
  2. put the egg in a cup beat with 1 tbsp vinegar, add enough ice water to make 3/4 cup beat well. mix with flour mixture
  3. Turn out on floured surface, cover with bowl, let rest 10 minutes. Roll out. makes 5-10" or 6-9" crusts
  4. For baking crust without filling. roll out dough line 1 pan set another pan inside and turn upside down. Bake at 425* for 20 minutes.
