country pie crust

This recipe is from the book I got the Dinner rolls from. It is not very healthy as it calls for lard. But it is the best pie crust I've ever made.

Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 1/2 stick butter, cold
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 cups generous cups lard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
How To Make country pie crust

Step 1cut together flour,salt,baking soda,lard and butter. Should look like small peas.

Step 2put the egg in a cup beat with 1 tbsp vinegar, add enough ice water to make 3/4 cup beat well. mix with flour mixture

Step 3Turn out on floured surface, cover with bowl, let rest 10 minutes. Roll out. makes 5-10" or 6-9" crusts

Step 4For baking crust without filling. roll out dough line 1 pan set another pan inside and turn upside down. Bake at 425* for 20 minutes.
