cottage cheese
1 c
cream cheese
1/2 c
sour cream
1/2 c
heavy cream
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
powdered sugar to taste

How to Make Coeur a la Creme


  • 1Line your mold (or a colander) with cheese cloth that has been rinsed in cold water and wrung out. Let excess hang over the sides.
  • 2Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Whip the heavy cream to very soft peaks and fold in. Add powdered sugar to taste. Stir in vanilla.
  • 3Spoon into prepared mold and fold cheese cloth over the top.
    Cover with plastis wrap and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Place mold on a plate to catch drainage.
  • 4To serve: open cheese cloth and invert onto a serving plate. Serve with fresh berries and whipped cream.
