How To Make cinnamon rolls (bread machine)

  • Step 1
Place the dough ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle, press start.
  • Step 2
After the dough has doubled in size, turn out onto a lightly floured surface, push it down and cover. Let the dough rest for approximately 10 minutes. While the dough is resting, make your filling.
  • Step 3
In a small bowl combine, the brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Step 4
Roll dough into a 16 x 21 inch rectangle. Spread the dough with 1/3 cup of butter and sprinkle evenly wth the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Press it down into the dough so it doesn't move around while you roll it up. Roll up the dough and cut into 1 1/2 inch rolls. Place rolls on a lightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 5
Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, approximately 25 minutes.
  • Step 6
While rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, 1/4 cup of butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread the frosting on the rolls while they are warm.
