This was a favorite of my friend, Roger. He could eat his weight in them! He passed away several years ago, but I never make them that I don't think of him coming in the house, grinning, and asking where "the peanut butter things" were. I created the recipe based on making 12 - 15 peanut butter dreams. Ingredient amounts are approximate. You can add or decrease depending on how many peanut butter dreams you want to make. They are rich! So one is a perfect serving!

Ingredients

  • 24 - 30 Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 package white chocolate bark
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate peanut butter dreams

  • Step 1
Spread peanut butter between two crackers. Don't use a heaping amount of peanut butter. Make it just like you were making a peanut butter and cracker snack. Create 12 - 15 cracker sets.
  • Step 2
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in the microwave. Oven time will vary -- usually 1 - 1.5 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  • Step 3
Dip half of the peanut butter cracker sets into the chocolate. Place on a parchment sheeted baking pan. Garnish with sprinkles, if desired.
  • Step 4
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Oven time will vary -- usually 1 - 1.5 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  • Step 5
Dip remaining peanut butter cracker sets into the chocolate. If you have more chocolate, simply put together a couple more cracker sets. Place on a parchment sheeted baking pan. Garnish with sprinkles, if desired.
  • Step 6
Put baking sheet in fridge or freezer until chocolate is completely set. Store in airtight container.
