Resistant starch is necessary for gut health. It feeds the good bacteria necessary for digestion. Raw oats and potato starch are some of the highest sources of the right kind of starch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup nutella
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon potato starch

How To Make chocolate oatmeal balls (resistant starch)

  • Step 1
    Mix everything together well. Should be a stiff dough. If too dry add a little more nutella. Roll into bite size balls. Refrigerate.
  • Step 2
    you can add things like chocolate chips, nuts, etc.
  • Step 3
    NOTE - I eat these to increase the resistant starch in my diet. The uncooked oats and potato starch are high in it. It's good for gut health.
