Ingredients

1 c
self rising flour
3/4 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
cocoa
1/2 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3/4 c
brown sugar
1/4 c
cocoa
1 3/4 c
hot tap water
1 c
chopped pecans (optional)

How to Make Chocolate Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir in milk,oil & vanilla until smooth. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Combine the brown sugar and remaining cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Slowly pour hot water over top (do not stir). Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until top of cake springs back when lightly touched. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
