The kids in our family all have loved this recipe but for some reason it did not get passed onto the next generation of Gramma Bea's grandkids. Several of them have asked for this recipe.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package chocolate chips (small)
How To Make chocolate chip chews

Step 1Mix as for cookies. Spread into a 9 x 13" pan. Bake at 350 for 25 min.
