I have no idea where this recipe came from it is in Gramma Bea' box. It is a very versitale recipe. You can bake it in a 9 x 13 pan for a cake like bar, or a 10 x 15 pan for a thinner bar, or a bunt pan for something on the fancier side.

Ingredients
- 1 package fudge cake mix
- 21 ounces can of cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 - eggs beaten
How To Make chocolate cherry bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Using solid shortening grease and flour your pan. In a large bowl mix ingredients by hand, stir until well mixted. Pour into pan and bake. (9x13 25 to 30 min.) (a 10x15 20 to 30 min.) (or a bunt pan 35 to 40 min.)

Step 2Frosting 1 c. sugar 5 T. butter 1/3 c. milk 1 c. semi sweet chocolate pieces In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil stirring constantly for 1 min. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over bars.
