I have no idea where this recipe came from it is in Gramma Bea' box. It is a very versitale recipe. You can bake it in a 9 x 13 pan for a cake like bar, or a 10 x 15 pan for a thinner bar, or a bunt pan for something on the fancier side.
Ingredients For chocolate cherry bars
fudge cake mix
can of cherry pie filling
How To Make chocolate cherry bars
Preheat oven to 350. Using solid shortening grease and flour your pan. In a large bowl mix ingredients by hand, stir until well mixted. Pour into pan and bake. (9x13 25 to 30 min.) (a 10x15 20 to 30 min.) (or a bunt pan 35 to 40 min.)
1 c. sugar
5 T. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. semi sweet chocolate pieces
In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil stirring constantly for 1 min. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over bars.
