This is an easy, but very tasty homemade brownie recipe. It's great to have on hand, whether you are making a quick, sweet snack, or an easy, after-dinner, dessert. My husband and children love it.

  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter (melted)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 c
    marshmallows, mini
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    nuts (optional)

How to Make Chewy Cocoa Brownies


  1. Stir together melted butter, sugar, water, and vanilla in mixing bowl. Stir until well blended (about 1 to 2 min).
  2. Stir in eggs, one at a time
  3. In seperate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add dry mixture to wet, and stir well (about 3-5 min).
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, marshmallows, and nuts (optional).
  6. Spread onto greased 13x9 baking pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
