This recipe comes out of an old Jello Cookbook. It tastes like cheesecake but there's no cheese in it. Quick and easy to make.

    graham crackers, whole
  • 1 pkg
    jello instant pudding, vanilla flavor (6 serving package)
  • 2 c
    cold milk (i used skim)
  • 1 c
    cool whip
  • 1 can(s)
    cherry pie filling

How to Make Cherry-Topped Easier Pie


  1. Line 9" square pan with whole graham crackers, breaking crackers if necessary
  2. Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat slowly with rotary beater until well blended, about 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes
  3. Fold in 1 cup cool whip
  4. Spread half the pudding mixture over crackers. Add another layer of crackers. Top with remaining pudding mixture and remaining crackers
  5. Top with cherry pie filling. Chill 3 hours or more
