This recipe comes out of an old Jello Cookbook. It tastes like cheesecake but there's no cheese in it. Quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 14 - graham crackers, whole
  • 1 package jello instant pudding, vanilla flavor (6 serving package)
  • 2 cups cold milk (i used skim)
  • 1 cup cool whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

How To Make cherry-topped easier pie

  • Step 1
    Line 9" square pan with whole graham crackers, breaking crackers if necessary
  • Step 2
    Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat slowly with rotary beater until well blended, about 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes
  • Step 3
    Fold in 1 cup cool whip
  • Step 4
    Spread half the pudding mixture over crackers. Add another layer of crackers. Top with remaining pudding mixture and remaining crackers
  • Step 5
    Top with cherry pie filling. Chill 3 hours or more
