Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 - egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- TOPPING
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 cup brown sugar
How To Make caramel squares

Step 1For the base: Mix all ingredients together with a fork and press into 8" square cake pan.

Step 2For the top: Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, and 1 cup brown sugar. Spread over the base.

Step 3Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
