caramel cake chocolate chip bars
Okay, this may not be anything new but it's my new favorite pleasure. It started out as cookies without the chocolate chips. Just bland, not very good. Put the rest of the dough in the fridge. Several nights later I needed a dessert in a hurry. Pulled out the dough, spread it in a pan and covered it with chocolate chips and said a prayer that it would be much better than the cookies. It was a BIG hit with the hubby and the rest of the crew! Will make this again....and again..... and again...... Oh, and it's really good served with ice cream on top! Don't forget the chocolate or caramel syrup

Ingredients
- 1 box duncan hines caramel cake mix
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 bag semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Mix together cake mix, eggs and oil. Mixture will be thick. Spread mixture into the bottom of an 9x9 pan.

Step 3Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 25-30 minutes. Do not overbake.
