A friend of mine found this recipe on the internet and gave it to me when she got tired of my whining about my favorite bakery not making Cappuccino Cheesecake anymore....

    graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted

  • 32 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c

  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 c
    boiling water

How to Make Cappuccino Cheesecake

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and margarine and press onto bottom of a 9 inch springform cake pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, and remove from oven
  3. Increase oven temperature to 450 F
  4. Combine cream cheese, sugar, and flour mixing at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition
  6. Blend in sour cream
  7. Dissolve coffee powder and cinnamon in boiling water; let cool
  8. Gradually add coffee mixture to cream cheese mixture, mixing until well blended
  9. Pour over crust and bake at 450 F for 10 minutes
  10. Reduce oven temperature to 250 F and continue baking for 1 hour
  11. Loosen cake from pan; let cool before removing rim of pan
  12. Whipped cream and whole coffee beans make a simple garnish for this cheesecake; with the Oreo cookie crumbs you can buy nowadays for the crust, combined with dark chocolate-covered coffee beans and a chocolate whipped cream for garnish, give it more of a mocha flavor....yummy!
