Something yummy to do with the left over candy canes you have..if you have any...with 2 teenage boys, there's nothing much left over in my house these days! The syrup is wonderful in things like hot chocolate, coffee, on top of ice cream ..just anywhere really

11 In a saucepan, bring all ingredients to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Stir until candy canes have melted. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
