I found this recipe in an old recipe box of my grandmothers.I make ths every Christmas. Everybody loves it and asks me to make it.

1 cup butter, unsalted
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 - eggs
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons peppermint extract

How To Make candy cane brownies

Step 1

Grease or spray a 9x13.Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2

whisk together flour, baking powder, set aside. Melt butter and chocolate chips.
Step 3

Add to a large bowl, butter mixture,sugar,extract.Mix well, stir in dry ingredients.
Step 4

Pour into a 9x13 pan.Bake for 20 - 25 min.
