Ingredients

  • 3 slices toasted bread slices – remove crust – cut in triangles
  • 0.33 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.75 cup sugar

How To Make bread sweet dish (bread halwa)

  • Step 1
    Heat two cups of milk on medium heat
  • Step 2
    Add 1/3 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • Step 3
    Add a small pinch of saffron
  • Step 4
    Add 3/4 cup of sugar
  • Step 5
    Bring to a boil and leave To simmer for a few minutes
  • Step 6
    Pour half of the milk on the Bread slices to soak them in it
  • Step 7
    Add one tablespoon of rice flour
  • Step 8
    Stir till the mixture starts to thicken
  • Step 9
    Pour the rest of the mixture on the bread

    Garnish with one tablespoon of crushed Pistachios
  • Step 11
    Also sprinkle one tablespoon of flaked Almonds
  • Step 12
    Best served cold
