This is a great recipe to make when it's cold and rainy outside. Not so much in the summer time. When you do try it you'll love it!

Ingredients

4 cups
challah (egg bread) cubed
4
eggs, beaten
2 cups
milk
1/2 cup
granulated sugar
1/2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 cup
chopped walnuts
1/2 cup
raisins
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 cup
brown sugar
2 tsp
butter, sliced into pieces

How to Make Bread Pudding

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2Coat on 11 X 7 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Spread bread cubes in pan. Whisk together eggs, milk, granulated sugar and vanilla. Stir in Walnuts and raisins. Pour mixture over bread cubes;press into bread with back of spoon. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar and sprinkle on top of bread mixture, and dot with butter.
  • 3Bake 50 to 55 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
