I'm always asked to make these. So easy but so tasty. Use what ever chips and nuts you like. Serve warm with warm carmel sauce and ice cream. I call this love for the tummy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 (16 oz) box light brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch salt
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
- 1 (16 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make blonde brownies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add sugar. Stir in eggs, flour and baking powder. Add vanilla extract, salt and nuts. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 2(My note: Once the sugar has been mixed in with the melted butter, I prefer to pour it into a mixing bowl and then add the rest of the ingredients. It seems to result in a more brownie-like texture.)
