Ingredients
- 4 - eggs, beaten
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- ICING:
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 6 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
How To Make black forest brownies

Step 1In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, and almond extract.

Step 2Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; stir into egg mixture until blended. Fold in cherries and nuts. Pour into greased 13x9x2" baking pan. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Step 3Meanwhile, for icing, in a small mixing bowl, beat the confectioners sugar, cocoa, milk, butter and vanilla until smooth. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with nuts.
