1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 tspalmond extract

1 1/3 call purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt

1 cmaraschino cherries

1/2 cchopped nuts
- ICING:

2 cconfectioners sugar

6 Tbspbaking cocoa

1/4 cbutter, softened

1 tspvanilla
-
1/4 cmilk
-
1/4 cchopped nuts
How To Make black forest brownies

1In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, and almond extract.

2Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; stir into egg mixture until blended. Fold in cherries and nuts. Pour into greased 13x9x2" baking pan. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

3Meanwhile, for icing, in a small mixing bowl, beat the confectioners sugar, cocoa, milk, butter and vanilla until smooth. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with nuts.
