all purpose flour
vanilla wafers cookies, broken in pieces
1/2 c
confectioners' sugar
1/2 c
pecans, in pieces
3/4 c
cold butter, cubed


1 pkg
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c
2 Tbsp
2% milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract


1 1/2 c
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1 1/4
1/2 c
key lime juice
1/2 tsp
confectioners' sugar

How to Make Bea's Key Lime Bars


  • 1In a food processor, combine flour, wafers, sugar and pecans; cover and process until pecans are fine texture. Add the butter and then cover and pulse until crumbly.
  • 2Press into an ungreased 13-inch by 9 in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 min or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
  • 3In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla until blended; spread over crust to edges of pan. In another small bowl, combine sugar and flour; whisk in eggs and lime juice. Gently pour over cream cheese layer.
  • 4Bake for 20-25 min. or until filling is set. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled. Cut into bars. Before serving, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
