This stuff tastes like a just out of the oven warm, fresh baked oatmeal cookie.. It's great for breakfast with some buttery sliced cooked apples on the side, or great warm with a scoop of vanilla ice creamand a drizzle of real maple syrup for dessert. Add in things if you want like, plumped raisins, or mashed banana, maybe some chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.. Sounds like comfort food!

- 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make baked oatmeal

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Combine sugar, melted butter, milk and egg. Add oats, salt, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well. Turn into a 13x9 greased pan.Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes til edges and top are golden brown.
