Ingredients

  • BARS

  • 1 pkg
    spice cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    salad dressing (such as miracle whip)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    apple, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • FROSTING

  • 3 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Apple Raisin Snack Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350*. Grease 9x13 pan.
  2. Blend cake mix, dressing and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Stir in apple and raisins. Spread into pan.
  3. Bake in 350* oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  4. Blend all ingredients for frosting with electric mixer on low speed until moistened. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy. Spread over bars.
