wash peel and cut and core apples.preheat oven grease a 9.5inch by 13.5 by 2 inch 3qt baking dish. spread apples evenly in pan.do not add eggs ect. to cake mix but pour dry cake mix over apples put pats of butter about 2inches apart over cake mix .place in oven bake for 45 minutes or till golden brown
