Ingredients
- 5 cups peeled cored apples sliced very thin
- 1/2 cup sugar or 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg optional
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons flour
- large handful raisins, dried cranberries or cherries
- FOR THE TOPPING
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter room temperature
How To Make apple cobbler

Step 1Mix together sliced apples and lemon juice together. Blend sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla together. Toss raisins with flour. Mix all together and place in 9 inch pie plate or baking dish.

Step 2For the topping blend and crumble over apple mixture. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cover then bake an additional 10 minutes or until apples are cooked through. Let cool a bit and serve.
