- angel food cake (large one w/hole in middle)
- 1 can(s)
- sweetened condensed milk
- 8 oz
- cream cheese, room temperature
- pie filling of your choice(we prefer cherry)
- 8 oz
- whipped topping, thawed
How to Make Angel Food Surprise
- 1Layer 1: Take half of the angel food cake, pinch into small pieces. Place into bottom of large bowl. (I like to use a clear glass one.)
Layer 2: Mix cream cheese and s/c milk with mixer. Pour over cake pieces.
Layer 3: Take remaining cake, and pinch into small pieces. Place onto cream cheese mixture.
Layer 4: Pour pie filling onto cake pieces.
Layer 5: Spoon whipped topping onto pie filling.
It can be eaten immediately, but is much better if it can sit overnight.
