I did this with the My preschool children. We all loved it. The kids were amazed. When the Ice cream melted we cut bananas up and put them in the melted ice cream which the loved it that way too. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup salt (coarse salt, rock or kosher)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 gallon size freezer bag
  • 1 quart size freezer bag

How To Make ziplock home made ice cream

  • Step 1
    Place ice and salt in the large ziplock bag
  • Step 2
    In the small ziplock bag, mix the other ingredients. Squeeze out air; Seal.
  • Step 3
    Place the small ziplock bag inside the big ziplock bag. Seal; Shake and knead the bag for ten minutes, until the cream thickens.
  • Step 4
    Remove the small ziplock bag, rinse, then open and eat the good ice cream.
