    heavy whipping cream
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 2 large
  • 2 c
  • 1
    8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 c
    fresh squeezed lemon juice

How to Make Zesty Lemon Cheesecake Ice Cream


  1. cream cream cheese and sugar together till smooth. Add eggs 1 at a time till incorporated. Add vanilla.
  2. Add lemon zest and lemon juice, mix till smooth. Add heavy cream and half and half. Whip 2 minutes.
  3. Pour into a plastic container and refrigerate till well chilled.
  4. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze for 30 minutes. Transfer to a freezer safe container, and freeze till hard.
    Garnish with lemon zest and graham cracker crumbs if desired.
