Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 - 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

How To Make zesty lemon cheesecake ice cream

  • Step 1
    cream cream cheese and sugar together till smooth. Add eggs 1 at a time till incorporated. Add vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Add lemon zest and lemon juice, mix till smooth. Add heavy cream and half and half. Whip 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a plastic container and refrigerate till well chilled.
  • Step 4
    Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze for 30 minutes. Transfer to a freezer safe container, and freeze till hard. Garnish with lemon zest and graham cracker crumbs if desired.
