My mom used to make this for us when we were growing up and because it hardly ever snowed it was always a treat when she was able to make it. We like to use frozen sweetened strawberries (thawed), or mashed bananas. And you can use any flavor extract that you want if you don't have vanilla on hand. Enjoy!!
