Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon grapefruit zest (white, pink or ruby red)
  • 1 1/4 cups pink grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 x large egg white

How To Make pink grapefruit sorbet (crohn's safe)

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar, zest & water. Bring to boil. Remove from heat when sugar is dissolved. Add juices.
  • Step 2
    Transfer sorbet mix to a storage container & refrigerate for 6 hours. Add lightly beaten egg white to mixture & mix thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Freeze sorbet mixture in freezer for 4 hours or longer before serving.
