My 'Aunt' Jan's delicious peppermint ice cream - I don't even like peppermint and I still love this ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 qt
    half and half
  • 2 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/3 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 c
    crushed peppermint candies

How to Make Peppermint Ice Cream

Step-by-Step

  1. In freezer can, stir together half and half, sweetened condensed milk, 2/3 c mints, 3/4 c water, and vanilla. Chill several hours or overnight.
  2. Freeze - this will take about 45 minutes. Remove dasher and stir in remaining mints. Put in deep freezer about 3 hours to harden.
