My 'Aunt' Jan's delicious peppermint ice cream - I don't even like peppermint and I still love this ice cream!

Ingredients

1 quart half and half
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 1/3 cups milk
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups crushed peppermint candies

How To Make peppermint ice cream

Step 1

In freezer can, stir together half and half, sweetened condensed milk, 2/3 c mints, 3/4 c water, and vanilla. Chill several hours or overnight.

Step 2

Freeze - this will take about 45 minutes. Remove dasher and stir in remaining mints. Put in deep freezer about 3 hours to harden.
