- 1Add brown sugar, butter, salt and condensed milk to a 2-quart saucepan.
- 2Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
- 3Cook until sugar is dissolved.
- 4Remove from heat. Stir in rum and vanilla and mix well.
- 5Pour into 2 (10 ounce) decorative jars and screw on lid and ring.
