This was my mammaw's recipe with the addition of my husband's Aunt Chris's butter

This is especially good on a cold day.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 large
    can of peach slices
  • 1 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    juice from the peaches
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter

How to Make Mammaw's Peach Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain peach juice into a measuring cup to make one cup. if it's not a full cup, just add milk or water to make a cup. I pour the peaches into a 8 in. metal or glass pan. I mix the juice with the flour and sugar and then I cut in about a tablespoon of butter then pour it on top of the peaches.
  2. Then bake at 350 for about 30 minutes until top is brown.
