This is a recipe from Cook's Country,I have not tried this recipe but I love their recipes,they perform alot of testing to all of their recipes and the ones I tried have all been delicious. you don't need an ice cream maker for this one!
1Microwave milk and chips in large bowl until chocolate melts,stirring halfway,about 30 seconds. Let cool. Stir in vanilla,salt and sour cream.
With electric mixer on medium-high speed whip heavy cream to soft peaks,about 2 minutes. Whisk one third of whipped cream into chocolate mixture until incorporated. Place n airtight container and freeze until firm,at least 6 hours or up to 2 weeks.
