How to Make Kahlua
- 1Dissolve instant coffee in hot water. Turn to very low heat.
- 2After coffee is completely dissolved add sugar and stir until clear. Take mixture off heat.
- 3When pot is cool to touch, add brandy and stir to distribute.
- 4Pour into sterilized canning jars or decorative food safe bottles containing half, (or slices of half of the vanilla bean.)
- 5Seal, label and age 3 mo. (Use as appertif, over vanilla ice cream, as flavorful additions to cakes/candies, etc.
