This is a very sweet dessert. You might want to NOT add the rest of the caramel on top of the ice cream and only use the crumbles on top. Good for a crowd and you can make well ahead and freeze.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/2 gallon soffened ice cream, any flavor

How To Make ice cream nut dessert

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, nuts & butter in 9x13 inch pan and bake 350 degrees F. for 15-20 min. Cool and crumble.
  • Step 2
    Divide the crumbles in half and put half back into pan. Then put 1/2 jar caramel topping over crumbs and then the ice cream.
  • Step 3
    Add rest of the caramel on top of the ice cream and sprinkle on the rest of the crumbles. FREEZE
