Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

This is a great ice cream. We have it a lot in the summer time when we have get togethers.

  • 2 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk 14 oz1
  • 1 lb
    strawberries, fresh
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream


  1. Hull and chop strawberries. Puree about half of the strawberries in food processor or blender.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk heavy cream, sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in condensed milk until blended.
  4. Spread about half this mixture into a loaf pan or container.
  5. Spread about half of the strawberry puree on top.
  6. Sprinkle about half of the chopped strawberries on top. Spread remaining ice cream mixture into the container.
  7. Spread remaining strawberry puree on top. Run a knife or spatula thru container to create swirl.
  8. Sprinkle remaining chopped strawberries on top. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.
