This is a great ice cream. We have it a lot in the summer time when we have get togethers.

heavy whipping cream
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk 14 oz1
1 lb
strawberries, fresh
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 Tbsp

How to Make Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream


  • 1Hull and chop strawberries. Puree about half of the strawberries in food processor or blender.
  • 2In a large bowl, whisk heavy cream, sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • 3Fold in condensed milk until blended.
  • 4Spread about half this mixture into a loaf pan or container.
  • 5Spread about half of the strawberry puree on top.
  • 6Sprinkle about half of the chopped strawberries on top. Spread remaining ice cream mixture into the container.
  • 7Spread remaining strawberry puree on top. Run a knife or spatula thru container to create swirl.
  • 8Sprinkle remaining chopped strawberries on top. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.
