Ingredients

  • 1 cup peaches
  • 1.25 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups light cream

How To Make homemade peach ice cream

  • Step 1
    Coarsely chop the peaches in a food processor or blender.
  • Step 2
    Combine the peaches with 1/4 cup of sugar and chill.
  • Step 3
    Combine 1 cup of sugar with the cornstarch and salt.
  • Step 4
    Blend the milk gradually.
  • Step 5
    Microwave on high (100%) for about 8 minutes or until thick, stirring two to three times.
  • Step 6
    Beat the eggs and add, gradually, to the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly.
  • Step 7
    Microwave, on high (100%), about two minutes or until thick and creamy.
  • Step 8
    Chill.
  • Step 9
    Add the vanilla and cream to the mixture.
  • Step 10
    Stir in the peaches.
  • Step 11
    Place in an ice cream freezer and freeze.
