Ingredients

  • 2 quarts 2 different flavors of ice cream
  • 12 cookies, crushed ( i used oreos)
  • 1 - container of cool whip
  • caramel or fudge optional
  • sprinkles, optional

How To Make homemade ice cream cake

  • Step 1
    This is a 2 day process...line 2 cake pans with saran wrap, bring ice creams to room temperature.
  • Step 2
    pour each one in the lined pans, cover with more saran wrap and freeze over night.
  • Step 3
    about 1 hour before serving, it's time to build, unwrap each pan and place 1 solid piece on a plate, crush the cookies and put on top, then put the second frozen ice cream on top, cover generously with the cool whip and freeze an hour.
  • Step 4
    upon serving, drizzle with caramel or fudge and top with sprinkles...The flavor possibilities are endless...Get creative and Enjoy!
