I found this recipes a couple of years ago in a little recipe book you usually find at supermarket checkouts. I make it quite a lot in the summer .It is great served at cookouts on a hot day. Everyone I know that has tried it loves it. Sometimes for fun I use different sherbets, lime, raspberry ect.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1-1/2 c
finely crushed vanilla wafer
1/4 c
melted butter or margarine.
2 c
cold milk
2 box
4 servings each vanilla instant pudding
1-8 oz pkg
cool whip defrosted & divided
2 c
orange sherbet softened

How to Make Frosty Orange dream squares

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix crumbs & butter together press into bottom of 9x13 pan,set aside
  • 2Add milk to pudding mix. beat with whisk for 2 minutes ,stir in half of whipped topping .Spoon evenly over the crust. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • 3Add remaining cool whip to sherbet,stir with wire whisk until blened. Spread over the pudding mix
    Cover with foil freeze for at least 3 hours. Serve in squares.
  • 4You may use graham crackers instead of vanila wafers for the bottom layer
