easy vanilla bean ice cream
A few weeks ago I ran across my old recipe box. Thrilled to find it I went through it as though I was opening a treasure box. I found this recipe (dated 1981) the year my sweetheart and I were married. I love Ice Cream and any thing that is easy. Add ingredents that you love and make it your special treat too! ENJOY!!

Ingredients
- 1 pint cold/ whipping cream
- 3 - egg yolks
- 1 - vanilla bean
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
How To Make easy vanilla bean ice cream

Step 1Add 3 egg yolks to bowl.

Step 2Pour in Sweetened Condense Milk and 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract.

Step 3With tip of knife split the vanilla bean down center from top to bottom, spread open. Using tip of knife scrape the vanilla bean to remove the beans from pod. Add vanilla beans to egg yolks and sweetened condense milk.

Step 4Mix well.

Step 5Add cold whipping cream to cold bowl. Whip until peaks form.

Step 6Fold whipped cream into the vanilla bean mix, (gently to keep air in cream).

Step 7Pour Ice Cream mix into a loaf pan (one you would use to bake bread in). Cover with foil and freeze until firm.

Step 8It takes 6 hours or more to firm up.
