easy praline sauce for ice cream- dad's recipe
Here is another one of my Dad's ice cream sauces. This praline sauce is delicious and not hard to make at all. Just a wonderful dessert for a hot summer day! Mom loved this on butter pecan ice cream. One of her most favorites ever. Picture of pecans is clip art.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make easy praline sauce for ice cream- dad's recipe

Step 1Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. When boiling add remaining ingredients and stir as it returns to a boil. When it reaches a full boil remove from heat, pour into a container, and refrigerate. Mixture will thicken as it cools.

Step 2Serve over ice cream. Add whipped topping and a cherry if desired.
