When my children were little I used to make Oreo Cookie Ice Cream. Over the years, I misplaced that recipe and I was so happy to find a similar recipe from Kevin & Amanda. So easy to make your own variations!

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    heavy cream, cold
  • 1-14 oz can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/2-1 tsp
    peppermint extract
  • 1 c
    mini chocolate chips
  • 3-4 dash(es)
    green food coloring

How to Make Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream-No ice cream ma

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sweet milk, butter, extract. Add green food coloring slightly darker green than you would like. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. In a seperate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk mixture.
  3. Pour into a two quart container and freeze. After two hours give the mixture a stir (gently folding). Freeze until set...approx 5 hours.
    I have halved the mixture into two loaf pans and it was ready in four hours.
