When my children were little I used to make Oreo Cookie Ice Cream. Over the years, I misplaced that recipe and I was so happy to find a similar recipe from Kevin & Amanda. So easy to make your own variations!

Cool & creamy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream, cold
1-14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2-1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 cup mini chocolate chips
3-4 dashes green food coloring

How To Make easy mint chocolate chip ice cream-no ice cream ma

Step 1

Combine sweet milk, butter, extract. Add green food coloring slightly darker green than you would like. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 2

In a seperate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk mixture.
Step 3

Pour into a two quart container and freeze. After two hours give the mixture a stir (gently folding). Freeze until set...approx 5 hours. I have halved the mixture into two loaf pans and it was ready in four hours.
