1/2 cbutter or margarine
2/3 cbrown sugar, light, packed
4bananas, med ripe
1/3 crum, white
·vanilla bean ice cream
How to Make Drema's "Flaming Bananas"
- In chaffing dish, melt butter and sugar with cinnamon. Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally,until golden brown - aboaut 3 minutes.
Into chaffing dish, cut bananas diagonally 1/2-inch slices; heat throughly carefully turning to coat slices with mixture.
- Heat rum in small mcirowave-safe bowl - until just warm.
Pour slowly over slices and ignite immediately. Do not stir.
Spoon sauce and banans over ice cream.
