~ crunchy peanut butter banana parfait ~

A tasty way to cool off on those hot summer days. This is a concoction I came up with for my son as he loves all things peanut butter and banana's. Along with the crunch from the peanut butter, I added the crunch of the graham crackers for texture. Delicious and easy to make. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops - vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons hersheys syrup
  • 1 - whole - sheet graham crackers - 2 sections crumbled per sundae
  • 1 large banana - sliced when ready to use
  • whipped - cream and extra graham crackers for garnish

How To Make ~ crunchy peanut butter banana parfait ~

  • Step 1
    Place peanut butter and chocolate syrup in a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds. Stir until well combined. Heat another 10 seconds if not saucy enough.
  • Step 2
    In the bottom of a sundae glass such as I used ( or can be made in a glass mug or any tall glass - add a dollop of peanut butter mixture, next 3 - 4 slices of banana, one fourth the sheet of graham cracker crumbled. One scoop of ice cream. Repeat one more time. Top with whipped cream, banana slice and sprinkle of graham cracker as garnish.
