Ingredients
- 3 cups orange juice
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons orange zest
- 3/4 teaspoon rose water
How To Make creamsicle granita
-
Step 1Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
-
Step 2Pour mixture into a glass 9 inch baking pan. Cover. Freeze until the edges are just frozen, about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
-
Step 3Remove from freezer and use a fork to scrape the frozen granita up, moving it towards the center. Smooth the top, cover, and return to the freezer.
-
Step 4Repeat the freezing and scraping every half hour until the granita is firm. Usually about 4 hours total freezing time.
