cranberry cream
Fresh cranberry cream is my family's favorite winter treat! They know the holidays are approaching when the cranberry cream comes out. The recipe makes a large amount and couldn't be simpler, no cooking involved - just mix together and freeze, serve like ice cream. You can whip up a batch and have a great treat ready to serve anytime. The flavors and textures are wonderful, tastes like holidays!

Ingredients
- 1 bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 large tub of cool whip (or similar brand)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
How To Make cranberry cream

Step 1In a large container, mix cream cheese and sugar well, then mix in Cool Whip. I use my electric hand mixer.

Step 2Rough chop the fresh cranberries and pecans in food processor or by hand

Step 3Fold the pineapple, cranberries, and pecans into the cream cheese mixture.

Step 4Pace container in freezer until solid. Scoop and serve like ice cream.
