Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 large bananas, not quite ripe
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 tablespoons dekuyper creme de banana (banana liqueur)
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 2 tablespoons kahlua (coffee liqueur)
- 1/4 cup orange juice, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- - vanilla ice cream
How To Make coffee liqueur bananas foster

Step 1In medium skillet over medium high heat, melt butter. Cut bananas in half lengthwise. Add bananas; cook, turning once, about 1 minute per side. Remove from pan.

Step 2To same pan, add sugar, banana liqueur, rum & kahlua; simmer 2 minutes. Remove skillet from heat; ignite alcohol with a long kitchen match. When flame is out, add juice, cinnamon & nutmeg; simmer until thickened, about 3 - 5 minutes.

Step 3Return bananas to skillet; spoon sauce over for 1 minute. Serve with ice cream.
