I found this recipe in one of my cocktails cookbooks and got a chance to make it today....YUM!

Ingredients

  • 8 fluid ounces strong cold coffee
  • 4 tablespoons heavy cream -or- 2 tbsp evaporated milk
  • 8 fluid ounces cold soda water
  • 2 - scoops chocolate ice cream
  • GARNISH
  • - chocolate covered coffee beans, roughly chopped

How To Make coffee chocolate soda

  • Step 1
    Pour the coffee into tall glasses. Add the heavy cream or evaporated milk. Add the soda water and stir. Place a scoop of ice cream into the mixture. Garnish with some of the chocolate covered coffee beans. Serve with a long spoon or straw.
  • Step 2
    VARIATIONS: Substitute chocolate mint, vanilla, coffee, or cinnamon ice cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings, whipped cream dusted with cinnamon, fresh mint leaves.
